This armor is an exploration of fragility and strength. The fragility of the clay’s surface is exposed, while the inside is glazed to resemble iron. Theses tiles are a combination of hand sculpted and press molded. Each tile is connected by a series of knotted silk chords which allow them to move freely as the wearer walks.
